City Clerk
The Office of the City Clerk facilitates accountable stewardship of official City documents and records. Additionally, the City Clerk provides administrative services including the oversight of the Civil Rights and Title VI programs, and serves as the Claims for Damages Agent for the city.

City Manager
The City Manager is appointed by City Council and serves as Chief Executive Officer for the City.

Community Development
The Community Development Department consists of two primary divisions: Planning and Building. The department administers the development and zoning codes outlined in the Battle Ground Municipal Code and oversees new proposals for development, from the conceptual stage through to the completion of construction.

Communications & Public Information
The City of Battle Ground is committed to providing reliable and timely information, and engaging citizens, stakeholders and the larger community in the exchange of information and ideas.

Finance
The Finance Department accounts for and protects all of the assets of the City and is responsible for the City’s central accounting, budget and financial planning, treasury, debt management, and utility billing.

Fire Marshal's Office
The mission or the Fire Marshal’s Office is to protect lives, property, and the environment through fire prevention services such as existing occupancy inspections, new construction services, public education, code enforcement, and fire investigation.

Human Resources
The Human Resources Department is responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining a competent, committed, and diverse workforce to deliver quality, reliable, customer-oriented services.

Legal
The City Attorney serves as both Civil Attorney, providing legal counsel to the City Council and staff, and Prosecuting Attorney for the Battle Ground Municipal Court.

Municipal Court
The Battle Ground Municipal Court believes in fair, equitable, and efficient access to the justice system for all of our citizens and patrons, adhering to the highest standards of ethics and impartiality in applying the laws of our community.

Parks & Recreation
Battle Ground Parks & Recreation offers parks, facilities, programs and services that promote wellness and engage community members of all ages.

Police
The Battle Ground Police Department is a full-service, community-based law enforcement agency that is committed to providing the highest possible level of service while working in partnership with our community to find solutions to crime and quality of life issues.

Public Works
The Public Works Department is responsible for building, operating, and maintaining public facilities and utilities within the City of Battle Ground.

Special Events Permits
A Special Event is defined as a temporary activity or event that is conducted wholly or in part on public property or any event on private property that involves an open invitation to the public.

Utilities
The City provides Water, Sewer and Stormwater Drainage utilities; Finance Department staff provides utilities billing and customer service.

Volunteer Program
The city recognizes that volunteer opportunities are essential elements in building a stronger, healthier, and more beautiful community. Our volunteer programs include individual Community Service, annual Work Party Events, and the Adopt-a-Place (Parks, Streets/Islands) program.
