Battle Ground Parks & Recreation is responding to the COVID-19 public health emergency and related federal, state and city directives in order to ensure the health, safety and well-being of the community and our staff.  

All City playground structures, picnic areas, Skate & Bike Park, sport courts and bathroom facilities are temporarily closed until further notice.

The City of Battle Ground is closing all active recreation areas in city parks, including sports courts, playground structures, picnic areas and the Skate & Bike Park. Bathroom facilities at parks are also closed. The closures are in response to the Governor’s “Stay Home, Stay Healthy” directive and are designed to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Park open spaces will remain accessibleWe believe that getting outdoors in a safe manner allows our community an opportunity to enjoy the mental & physical benefits of these spaces. We encourage you to get outdoors, but avoid groups and stay six feet away from others.
