Holiday Tree Lighting &  Celebration

Holiday Tree Lighting Online Watch Party

Friday December 4, 2020 at 6:00 PM

We invite you to kick off the holiday season with our Holiday Tree Lighting Watch Party! The community's long standing tradition will be held virtually this year, as we continue to embrace everyone's favorite moments.

As custom, the Battle Ground High School Choir will lead virtual caroling as we anticipate the arrival of Santa via a Fire District 3 Engine. Santa is looking forward to greeting everyone and, with Mayor Cortes, kicking off the holiday season!

We will be sharing our Tree Lighting celebration on the city's Facebook page and YouTube channel at 6:00pm

 Holiday Banners on Main Street

Thanks to folks with a kind and generous spirit, new holiday banners will line Main Street in Old Town. Local Battle Ground business Ink Ability supported the creative ideas of volunteers and designed the banners that were purchased with monetary donations.

A special thank you to DJ’s Electrical, Inc., a Battle Ground born business, for donating their services to hang the banners.

Leading the volunteer effort is the Parks & Community Engagement Advisory Board that continues to look for new and innovative ways to build community connections and engagements.
