- Rate Reduction for Seniors with Low Income
The city is pleased to be able to offer rate assistance to qualifying senior citizens with low-income. Seniors who qualify for the program will benefit from a 25% reduction on their utility bill.
Automatic re-enrollment (COVID-19): All seniors who received the discount last year (2019/2020) will be automatically re-enrolled for the coming year (2020/2021).
To qualify for the program, you must meet the following requirements:
✔ The utilities billed by the city are in your name
✔ You live at the property receiving utility service as your primary residence
✔ You are at least 62 years of age
✔ Your household winter water consumption from December-March does not exceed an average of 6 units per month
✔ You meet the household income requirements:
