Skyhawks provides a wide variety of fun, safe and positive programs that emphasize critical lessons in sports and life, such as teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Programs are designed to give each child a positive introduction into sports while fostering a lifelong love for an active, healthy lifestyle.

This multi-sport program was developed to give children a positive first step into athletics. The essentials of baseball, basketball and soccer are taught in a safe, structured environment with lots of encouragement and a big focus on fun!
The Mini-Hawk games and activities are designed to allow campers to explore balance, movement, hand/eye coordination and skill development at their own pace.

Your young athlete will gain the technical skills and sport knowledge required for their next step into soccer. Areas of focus are dribbling, passing. shooting and ball control. By the end of the camp your child will have learned new life skills such as teamwork and sportsmanship, made new friends and improved their soccer skills.

Experience the excitement of football with Skyhawks Flag Football, fueled by USA Football. Using a curriculum developed by USA Football, coaches will teach skills like passing, receiving, kicking and flag pulling the kids gain confidence and learn life lessons in a fun and positive environment.

Skyhawk volleyball brings the energy and excitement of this great team sport into one fun-filled camp. All aspects of the games are taught through drills and exercised that focus on bumping setting, spiking, hitting and serving. This program is designed for the beginning to intermediate player.

Multi-sport programs are designed to introduce young athletes to a variety of different sports in on setting. Athletes will learn the rules and essential skills of each sport, along with vital life lessons such as sportsmanship and teamwork.

This fun. skill-intensive program is designed for beginning to intermediate players. Using their progressive curriculum, Skyhawks will focus on the whole player, teaching sportsmanship and teamwork. Players will learn the fundamentals of passing, shooting, ball handling, rebounding and defense through skill-based instruction and small-sided scrimmages.

The Parks & Recreation Department is happy to welcome Kate's Yoga to the Battle Ground Community Center (912 E. Main Street). Kate's Yoga will be held on Tuesday evening for ages 12+.
Packages Available: 10 classes - $130, or $15/ class (drop-in)

Build better balance, strength and flexibility with this gradual yoga class, focusing on safe alignment.
This class is great for beginners and those with yoga experience, and involves modified yoga postures that are gentle on the wrists. Link your breath and mindful movements in this class. Please bring your own mats and a small blanket or foam garden kneeler if you need cushioning while seating or kneeling, some yoga straps and blocks will be provided.
High quality instruction including bars, balance beam, and trampoline. Your child will learn balance, strength, coordination, and flexibility all while building confidence and having fun! If you want to try it out for the first time, your first class is free.

The Battle Ground Parks & Recreation department held our 1st Annual CORN-ament in March of 2023 where there was good food and drinks, great door prizes and lots of fun and laugher for everyone who played or just stopped by to watch and support their favorite team. We are looking forward to 2024.
