The City of Battle Ground is committed to providing reliable and timely information, and engaging citizens, stakeholders and the larger community in the exchange of information and ideas.

The Communications Manager/Public Information Officer supports each of the city's departments through administration of the city's website; social media platforms; newsletters; press releases; and contact with the media and the public.

Information is available through several online platforms

  • Subscribe to Alerts, News, Council/Board Meetings & Agendas through our website’s Notify Me feature.
  • Visit or follow us on Facebook (most active) or Twitter
  • Subscribe to receive or view media press releases.  Anyone, not just the media, can subscribe for free!  
  • A newsletter, enclosed with city utility bills, is distributed to citizens and businesses on a quarterly basis. See the most recent newsletters below.

The PIO receives professional media requests on behalf of all city departments.
