Parks & Community Engagement Advisory Board

The Parks & Community Engagement Advisory Board makes recommendations to city council in regards to public parks, playgrounds, and recreational facilities to ensure a well integrated and complete program for their use.  The board helps develop public interest in activities of the parks and recreation department and solicits participation from community groups, the general public, and public and private entities.

Members

Board members are volunteers appointed by the Mayor for a term of three years; the youth representative serves a two-year term.
