Battle Ground Veterans Memorial

The Battle Ground Veterans Memorial was dedicated on November 11, 2015.  The names of 31 honored veterans, local service men who died in service to our country, are engraved on the wall of the memorial.  

The Memorial was fully funded and constructed by donations, evidence of the community's steadfast commitment to honoring those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and those who died protecting our freedom.

The Battle Ground Veterans Memorial is located in Kiwanis Park at 422 SW 2nd Ave in Battle Ground. The Memorial is open to the public 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.

Veterans Memorial Dedication Ceremony - November 11, 2015

After 6 years of fundraising and 9 months of construction, the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day 2015. Over 400 community members attended the ceremony, designed to honor and recognize veterans and active military who have served, fought and died for the freedom we enjoy today.

The Memorial was fully funded and constructed by donations, evidence of the community's steadfast commitment to this project. Over a quarter of a million dollars in products and services were donated by 34 local contractors and vendors to make this project a reality.
