    Applicant must be the legal guardian of the minor child to authorize their participation in this event.

    Further, by submitting this application naming a minor as a participant, applicant is agreeing to all terms contained within this application on behalf of their minor dependent.   

26. Consent Agreement*

    I am eighteen years of age or older, fully competent and I desire to participate in the City of Battle Ground Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade.

    I also consent to allow my picture or likeness (or that of my minor dependent) to appear in any official document, sponsor advertisement and/or television coverage of the event without compensation.

28. Assumption of Risk Waiver*

    1. I Agree

    I agree to be responsible for all damage, injury or harm my dog may cause to other people or property that may result from my participation in this event. Further, I assume all risk of injury, damage or harm to myself and my dog arising from our participation in the Battle Ground Howl-O-Ween Pooch Parade.

    I hereby indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the City of Battle Ground, its agents, officers, officials, employees, volunteers, heirs and assigns from any and all claims, injuries, disability, losses, property damage or suits including attorney fees, arising out of or in connection with participation in this event.

30. Removal Agreement*

    1. I Agree

    If it is determined by the City of Battle Ground Parks & Recreation Department staff that my participation in this event is disruptive to others, or my dog is perceived as aggressive or does not behave appropriately with other dogs or people, I may be asked to take leave and remove my dog from participating in this activity.

    I have read and understand the rules of this event.  By submitting my application to participate in this event, I agree to follow the rules as stated.
