  1. About the Planning Commission
    Thank you for your interest in serving on the City of Battle Ground Planning Commission.

    The Planning Commission is a seven member volunteer board that is charged with advising the City Council on all legislative land use matters referred to them by the council including comprehensive planning, capital facility planning, transportation planning, and development codes.

    Members of the Planning Commission are appointed by the mayor and confirmed by the city council.
  2. Membership & Terms
    Of the seven-member commission, not less five members shall reside within the City of Battle Ground and two members may reside outside the city of Battle Ground but within the Urban Growth Area of the city of Battle Ground or may reside in Clark County and must actively own and operate a business with a physical presence of a structure inside the Battle Ground city limits.

    Each position is for a term of four years.
