  • One-story detached accessory structures used as tool and storage sheds, playhouses and similar uses less than 120 square feet do not require a building permit. (IBC 105.2)
  • Accessory structures may include a 
    • Patio cover
    • Deck
    • Woodshed
    • Utility building
    • Gazebo
    • Garbage enclosure
  • Applying for a permit: See "Permit Application Process"
    • For commercial permits, we require one physical, large, to-scale copy delivered to Battle Ground City Hall in the "Contact Us" information to the right.
    • Plans must reflect:
      • Site plan
      • Floor Plan
      • Footing/Foundation Plans
      • Elevations
      • Framing
      • Roof plans
      • Mechanical and Plumbing may be included
  • Fee based on valuation
