[ARCHIVED] Lock it up!

The Battle Ground Police Department has experienced an increase in the number of reported car prowling incidents over the past several weeks where suspects gain access to unlocked vehicles and remove valuables. The majority of these reported incidents appear to be between 8:00 pm and midnight in the residential areas north of Main Street and west of 20th Avenue.

The Police Department would like to remind members of the public to remove valuables and secure their vehicles. In addition, please call 911 as soon as possible and report any thefts, suspicious persons or vehicles in the area of your home.

If anyone has information on the car prowls they are asked to call Detective Sergeant Aaron Kanooth at 360-342-5254.
