With statewide restrictions lifted, City of Battle Ground offices will reopen to the public. Beginning Tuesday, July 6, offices will open on a modified schedule, phasing into a full reopening by August 16.
The phased reopening, along with safety protocols and practices, will help maintain the health of patrons and staff:
- Those who are fully vaccinated are not required to wear a mask. Otherwise, a mask is required in all city facilities.
- Hand sanitizing stations are placed at facility entrances/exits.
- Floor markings guide 6-foot physical distancing.
- Those who are sick should not enter city facilities. Staff is available to assist anyone by phone or online.
City facilities closed to the public on March 17, 2020 in response to COVID-19 public health emergency orders. Although office doors were closed, city staff continued to work and provide services from the field, from the office, or by telecommuting from a remote location.
“I’m proud of how our staff adapted to maintain the city’s high standard of customer service,” said City Manager Erin Erdman, “Our doors may have been closed, but our commitment to customers always remained our priority; we look forward to opening our offices again.”
