[ARCHIVED] UPDATE: NW Onsdorff Reopens

July 14 Update:   The westbound section of NW Onsdorff, just west of SR-503, has reopened to traffic.  Construction in the area continues and there may be some short, intermittent lane closures via flaggers. Please be aware and drive with intention.  Thank you!

An 800-foot length of the west bound lane of NW Onsdorff, just west of SR-503 closed to traffic on July 6 and will remain closed until approximately July 20.  See a map of the lane closure here.

The closure is related to a private construction project on the property located adjacent to the lane closure.  The lane closure and traffic plan were approved by the City and WSDOT through a right-of-way permitting process. The City requires anyone working or placing items in the right-of-way, either permanent or temporary in nature, comply with City code by acquiring a right-of-way permit and meeting all other requirements.

Motorists who typically access this stretch of NW Onsdorff to reach their destination will want to use the detour at 244th Street.

Questions regarding the lane closure or related construction project may be directed to the city’s Engineering Department at 360-342-5070 or online.
