[ARCHIVED] Next session of Coffee with the Chief scheduled for November 13
Battle Ground Police Chief Bob Richardson invites community members to join him for the next session of Coffee with the Chief on Monday, November 13 from 5:30 – 7:00 pm. This session will take place at the Battle Ground Police Department located at 507 SW 1st Street, and will include a tour of the station.
Coffee with the Chief meetings provide an opportunity for an open dialogue between Chief Richardson and the community in a friendly and informal setting. Chief Richardson shares information on current law enforcement-related topics and participants have the opportunity to ask questions or discuss other police-related matters of interest.
At this session, the Chief will talk about the challenges the police department faces in meeting expected levels of service in a rapidly growing city, and the efforts to mitigate those challenges. Traffic enforcement is one such challenge; City Engineer Mark Herceg will join Chief Richardson as they share information on this important issue from both a law enforcement and transportation perspective.
Light snacks and beverages will be served. There is no pre-registration and community members of all ages are welcome to attend. For questions about this session of Coffee with the Chief, contact the department at 360-342-5310.
