The Veterans Memorial, located in Battle Ground’s Kiwanis Park was dedicated in November 11, 2015. The names of 31 honored veterans, local Battle Ground service members who died in service to our country, are engraved on its walls.  The memorial was fully funded by donations, evidence of the community's steadfast commitment to honoring those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and those who died protecting our freedom.  Funds raised at the Country Shindig will be used for maintenance of the memorial and for events honoring veterans.
