Rain, and a lot of it, is predicted to arrive in the next day or so.  With the amount of snow and ice still on streets we must now try to minimize the risk of localized flooding. Snow or ice blocking storm drains can keep water from flowing into the drainage system and can quickly create areas of standing water.

If you can easily and safely keep the storm drains clear in your neighborhoods or adjacent to your businesses, please do so. Crews will be doing the same in the most affected areas, but with over 1,800 catch basins and inlets, it will literally take a village.

Please report any signs of standing water or flooding in the city of Battle Ground to Public Works at 360-342-5350 during regular business hours (7:30am – 4pm), after hours at 360-635-7076, or by using our online Citizen Action Request by selecting the link below.
