[ARCHIVED] Yellow Ribbon Event to Support the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial

Yellow Ribbon Event to Support Veterans Memorial

Celebrate Veterans Day by dining at Battle Ground restaurants participating in this year’s Yellow Ribbon event on Tuesday, November 11th. Six local restaurants will be displaying a yellow ribbon designating their commitment to make a donation to the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial project based on customer sales on November 11th.

So make a day of it and support the Battle Ground Veterans Memorial Project to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country and our freedom.

Many thanks to these participating restaurants:
• Battle Ground Burgerville (from 4 – 8 pm)
• Detroit Pizza (for dinner only)
• Mill Creek Pub (all day)
• Old Town Battle Grounds (all day)
• Rocky’s Pizza (all day)
• South Pacific Café and Lounge (Battle Ground location)

Funding for the Veterans Memorial Project is solely dependent on public donations and contributions of in-kind services and materials. To contribute to the project or for further information about the Yellow Ribbon event select the Veterans Memorial link below or contact Parks & Recreation Director Debbi Hanson at 360-342-5385.
