The Battle Ground Planning Commission is a seven member volunteer board that is charged with advising the City Council on all legislative land use matters referred to them by them by the Council, including comprehensive planning, capital facility planning, transportation planning, and development codes. One position must be filled with a resident of the city and one position is open to residents of the city or UGA and/or must reside in Clark County and own and operate a business within the City. The Planning Commission members are appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by a vote of the City Council.
