City Clerk
The City Clerk's office is responsible for maintaining the City's official documents, including ordinances and resolutions, preparation of Council agendas and keeping the minutes of City Council meetings.  The City Clerk's office is committed to providing timely services in an open and transparent manner.

Public Records 
Pursuant to RCW 42.56.580, the City Clerk is the City's designated Public Records Officer. The city is committed to providing the full access to public records, therefore, to request a public record, please see Public Record Requests and return to the City Clerk.   

RCW 42.56.070 prohibits the access of lists of individuals for commercial purposes.

Ordinance No. 2017-25 provides that it is an undue burden for the city to maintain an index of all records.

Title VI
The City Clerk serves as the Title VI Coordinator for the City of Battle Ground. The city's non-discrimination policy assures that no person shall on the grounds of race, color, national origin or sex as provided by Title VI of the Civil Rights Acts be excluded from, participation in, be denied benefits of, or otherwise subjected to discrimination.  To view additional informational please see brochurerequest for accommodation, and complaint form.
