The Executive Department includes the offices of the City Manager, City Attorney, City Clerk, and Human Resources.
The Office of the City Clerk facilitates the legislative process and transparent, accountable stewardship of public information and official records.
The Community Development Department consists of two primary divisions: Planning and Building. The department administers the development and zoning codes outlined in the Battle Ground Municipal Code and oversees new proposals for development, from the conceptual stage through to the completion of construction.
The Finance Department accounts for and protects all of the assets of the City and is responsible for the City’s central accounting, budget and financial planning, treasury, debt management, and utility billing.
The City of Battle Ground contracts with Clark County Fire and Rescue for fire and emergency services.
The Human Resources Department is responsible for hiring, developing, and retaining a competent, committed, and diverse workforce to deliver quality, reliable, customer-oriented services to our citizens.
