Economic Development
The City of Battle Ground has seen fast growth in the past decade and in that time we have learned to appreciate the benefits of development, services within reach, the extension of infrastructure and the overall livability of our community.

In an effort to foster further development we have implemented several strategies to achieve our goals including:
    •  Offering a team approach
    •  Interdisciplinary collaboration throughout the process
    •  Expedited review at all phases
    •  Flexibility, providing creative solutions to development speed bumps

City staff and our elected officials have worked diligently creating, adopting, and updating policy tools which help guide our economic development. These documents map out goals which are necessary for smart growth, they identify characteristics which are important to our citizens, and they address areas in which our City can improve.
