Prescription Drug Disposal
The Battle Ground Police Department is committed to keeping our community safe and will accept pill and liquid-form prescription medications for proper disposal during regular counter hours, Monday – Friday, 10 am to 5 pm.

Appropriate disposal of expired or unused prescription drugs helps keep your home and our community safe by reducing accidents, thefts, and the misuse and abuse medicines. Unused medications should never be flushed down the toilet or put in the trash; medications can easily contaminate the environment and water systems.

Please note that we do not accept over-the-counter medications or sharps (syringes, needles). Central Transfer & Recycling located at 11034 NE 117th Ave, Vancouver, WA accepts needles and sharps; please see this important information from Waste Connections regarding the disposal of sharps.
