In December of 2004, the Battle Ground City Council adopted an updated Comprehensive Plan to guide the growth and development in the City for the next 20 years. The Washington Growth Management Act (GMA) requires that cities within fast-growing counties, like Clark County, prepare comprehensive plans designed to plan for growth anticipated over a 20-year period. The City's first plan was adopted in 1995 and this update reflects the first update of the plan. This updated plan reflects the
50-year vision and the Urban Growth Boundary established by Clark County.
