The Department of Community Development works to sustain strong and stable neighborhoods and create a quality natural and built environment consistent the community's 50-year vision. Community Development oversees most of the city's civil regulations governing the use of land and buildings. The department is divided into three focus areas:
Long Range Planning, Development Services and
Building.
