Goals & Accomplishments
- Coordinate the work of all departments and employees to assure prudent, efficient and sustainable delivery of services consistent with the City's mission, legislative policies, budget goals and investments.
- Hired 23 new employees through the addition of 7 new positions and staffing adjustments in existing positions.
- Maintained and strengthened the Community Relations program, including community events that involved over an estimated 4,000 citizens (25% of our total population).
- Maintained a centralized Human Resources and Risk Management programs out of the City Manager's office.
- Sustained and enhanced current services while addressing the demands of a 6.00% annual growth rate.
- Substantially completed a capital investment program that exceeded $22 million, including completion of a new police station, operations center, sewer lift station, sewer treatment plant expansion, complete renovation of Kiwanis Park as well as the began work on Phase I renovation of Fairgrounds Park, 15th Avenue/Main Street signalization and various other street improvements throughout the City.
