North Parkway Blvd, between North 5th Street and Onsdorff Boulevard will be closed to traffic for approximately six months until March of 2010 for the North Parkway Improvement Project construction.

Both N. 9th and N. 12th Streets, as they cross over North Parkway, will remain open for vehicles and pedestrians needing access to and from the east side of North Parkway. North Parkway will remain accessible for emergency vehicles, garbage service, US Postal service and other City services. In addition, the City is working with the Battle Ground School District in regards to effected bus routes.
