At its June 15th meeting, the Battle Ground City Council passed Resolution No. 09-09, a resolution encouraging citizens to shop locally within the City of Battle Ground.

"Supporting existing businesses and economic development in the City of Battle Ground is more important than ever", noted Mayor Michael Ciraulo, "and what's more; Battle Ground is a great place to shop!"

The resolution speaks to the economic downturn, its impact in every corner of America, states the Council's intention to maximize the creation of jobs and restore economic growth and opportunity, and urges all City of Battle Ground residents to do their part to stimulate the economy by shopping locally within the City of Battle Ground.
