The Battle Ground Veterans Memorial was dedicated on November 11, 2015. The names of 31 honored veterans, local service men who died in service to our country, are engraved on the wall of the memorial.
The Memorial was fully funded and constructed by donations, evidence of the community's steadfast commitment to honoring those who serve in the U.S. Armed Forces and those who died protecting our freedom.
The Battle Ground Veterans Memorial is located in Kiwanis Park at 422 SW 2nd Ave in Battle Ground. The Memorial is open to the public 7 days a week from dawn to dusk.
Bricks are engraved and installed on an annual basis. Bricks ordered by March 1st of each year will be installed in time for the same year's Memorial Day. Each brick displays the veteran's name, branch of service, and dates of service, and is an excellent way to honor the service of a loved one or a friend.
The cost of a brick is $250. To place your order, use the brick order form and mail it to the Parks Foundation as noted on the form, or order directly online through the Parks Foundation.
